Once again the club has arranged a costume ball, the 9th. Belvoir Assembly. After the huge success of the ball in 2004 and 2006 there was great demand to try for the same venue again.
The venue will be the Ballroom in Newark Town Hall, Hilary Herbert will be the Master of Ceremonies and the music provided by Keeping Thyme.

For those who did not experience the atmosphere in one of our previous events a word or two about the venue....
The setting could not be more appropriate as the building was constructed in the mid 1770's and restored as near to its original condition as possible in 1989-90. The ceiling and fireplaces were inspired by Robert Adam and there are borders in Wedgwood style. The fireplace surrounds are in Italian marble.
